I said that I am happy that in my state restaurants are smoke free. I also said that I don't care about any other smokers' well-being. And I said I was not too smart to start smoking.

Twist that into whatever floats your boat, big guy.

Why should I "twist" your words, when you're doing that job so well yourself.

Here's what you actually said --

EnquiringMind [post 13]: "I am thankful that my state passed strict smoking laws."

There's a world of difference between saying you're happy that restaurants are smoke-free and saying that you're happy that restaurants are forced by government to be smoke-free.

Your happy feelings are not the issue under discussion. Government intrusion into personal choice is the issue -- no matter how much you twist your own words and then accuse others of twisting them.
