Also, Hills Science Diet has issued a voluntary recall of some of their cat food. I'll post the type of food they are recalling and if you have any of this food, check the link that I am giving as they list the lot numbers.

3. Science Diet® Feline Adult Savory Cuts® Chicken 5.5 oz.
4. Science Diet® Feline Adult Savory Cuts® Ocean Fish 5.5 oz.
5. Science Diet® Feline Senior Savory Cuts® Chicken 5.5 oz.

I had the science diet savory cuts ocean fish but the numbers didn't match--do you think i'm ok?

I spoke with my Hill's representative Saturday morning about Hill's contracting for the production of cat and dog food. The only reason I use Hill's is because of the superior quality control they have had in the past for their pet foods. Colgate bought out the company about 8 years ago. Hill's was unique in that they controlled the entire operation of the production of the pet food and had quality control that was equal to or superior that of any meat packing plant's quality control. Hill's has been around making an excellent product since the late 1940's.
