Did anybody watch that Val Plame joke this past week?
I mean, how long can this go on whilst our feet keep getting wet from the urine of Val and Joe and they keep telling us it's raining?
I'm telling you, between this and the Libby joke, nothing less than the President himself needs to come out and tell the truth.
I ain't getting into no flame war with anyone today so talk amongst yourselves. But this continual joke on this administration gets so old. Now the President DARED to fire some attorneys.
It's up to Bush to defuse all this and he does not. He will go down in ignomy just like his father.
Sad. So very, very sad.
And you can believe that everyone at this past week's local yokel GOP who attended is saying the same thing. The Republican party is demoralized almost beyond repair because of the constant unjustified and unfair Dem attacks. It's to a point where only Bush can help stop it.
Also, just an aside, I really resented Rush Limbaugh going on and on about how this woman is such a "BABE". Maybe it's small of me, I'll admit it. But here we are watching this bitch who cost this country so much money and caused all this angst and we got to hear the one and only person we can count on to take our side talking WITH HIS TESTICLES!
Reminds me of my women's lib days, why I didn't like men. Because no matter what a good-looking woman does if she's a BABE...hey, she's a BABE! All of us ugly women can be loyal, true-blue and general good guys but the BABES...they can do anything.

LOL. In my similar days, I did like men precisely for that reason. When you think about it, they're fairly predictable and reliable in their motivations. Besides, it's how God made them, and who are we to second-guess Her? ;)
wow! What an excellant analysis! I agree. the Rush thing about The Babe was disgusting! It puts the conservatives way back in junior high days and really waters down the evil that the Plames represent. Evil because they KNOW they are lying and for very very self centered reasons now continue.
I have no idea how Val got where she is today....but with Rush's comment...everyone dismisses her as a Babe and so her behavior is not reprensible ..but just being a "dumb blonde Babe.
I have to remember Rush is above all else..just an entertainer too.

I have marveled at how so many seem to have had Rush's comments go right over their heads.
If you listen to Limbaugh long enough, you can tell when he is making a subtle point.
The point is, he was speaking for everyone who is backing Plame, in that they couldnt care less whether there is anything to what she says, only that she is a babe, and in the midst of a babe, you just nod your head, and pay no attention to the fact that her lips are moving.
Rarely to women with Plame's looks have anything to say of note, they are typically bimbos who never had to do a lot of thinking to get ahead in the first place.
All Rush was doing, was describing the entire aura behind this Plame business. It is just a bunch of Senators hoping that her lying husband drops dead, and that she remembers that they were once very nice to her.
She's hot, but for what men would want from her, hot is enough. You make the mistake of thinking that anyone on either side is really listening to her at all.
I heard that not as praise for her "beauty" but as a satirical comment on the fawning attitude of her supporters, particularly in the press. With Rush you have to think a level or two beyond what he actually says. He assumes (not always correctly) that his audience is up to the task. Sometimes what is obvious to him doesn't quite make it to the microphone in a way that many can understand.
Sometimes it's funny, as when he had a caller on to declare how shocked he was by the political ad he'd just heard on Rush's show (one of the parody ads he runs sometimes "paid for by George Soros and Friends of Nazi Pelosi"). The guy thought it was real and Rush just let him go on thinking it was. Sometimes it's sad, as when people didn't catch on that he was being sarcastic when he declared and maintained for two days that he was switching sides and supporting President Clinton.
He can be sophmoric at times, but there's generally a reason he's being sophmoric.
Hah! She's not as good looking as I thought, but, face it, she's the closest thing to good looking the dems have except for a few of their media people.
And I wish you'd reign in the ignomy talk. Bush will go up...way up... in history after all the rhetoric has died down.
We all wish he'd kick butt, but that's not him. And it will not be him. Not over this political crap.
He's staying the course where it matters.
