It seems that former Admiral Sestak has a "fan club"... Wasn't Admiral Sleestak a villain?

Again another reason I feel that Delay was either the subject of extreme jealousy or a mole. The Republicans made a House rule just for themselves that made DeLay step down when he was indicted. A lot of good it did them (and us) to be so sanctimonious. What ever happened to that (phoney) lawsuit?
To: Miss Marple
Miss Marple and all....
Okay, please stop with the Freepmail and sarcasm. I still believe what I posted. If I've went overboard on anything, I allowed what should have been an idle passing comment to turn into a way bigger deal on this thread than it need be.
Of course Miss Marple's comment to which I respond here, really helps, now don't it?
But I do apologize to all who feel they need an apology. I really believe what I posted and frankly I should have said it and let it go. I took all bait offered me and got out of hand.
I see it kind of like the Pace fellow....maybe it was the wrong place and/or forum but I still have the same sentiments. I'd argue I'm entitled to my opinion.
That being said...I'll say no more on this matter and promise this type of thing will not happen in the future. I do have self-control.

I would never blame Thompson for CFR, that was strictly Mccain's "stop me before I kill/take illegal money again" deal. What I cannot forget is him letting Glenn run the committee even in the Minority Position. Thompson should have been totally embarrassed by his performance. Glenn was like a steamroller and Thompson ended up Flat as a tile floor.

Not from the Sunday Talk show, but here is an interesting comment from Instapundit (who has links to the interview):
LIGHTS, CAMERA, CANDIDACY? John Fund interviews Fred Thompson. I love this quote: "The CIA has better politicians than it has spies." It does seem that way.
LOL; thought you might enjoy it.

Well, here's what the Associated Press is reporting:
Police no longer give official estimates but said privately that perhaps 10,000 to 20,000 anti-war demonstrators marched, with a smaller but still sizable number of counterprotesters also out in force. An hour into the three-hour Pentagon rally, with the temperature near freezing, protesters had peeled away to a point where fewer than 1,000 were left.
The lying AP

From Media Bistro yesterday, regarding the new press room for the white house press corpse:
CNN Gets A Front Row Seat
> Earlier: CNN & Fox Want Front Row Seats...
And the winner is: CNN.
"The White House Correspondents' Association met today to review plans for the renovated West Wing Briefing Room and the seating assignments," a memo said on Friday.
"As a board, we decided to move CNN to the first row. This decision was based on CNN's 27 years of covering The White House, as well as the resources it brings to the in-town and travel pool, and its daily presence at the briefings. In addition, the board agreed to honor a previous commitment by our association to maintain Helen Thomas' seat in the first row..."
Typical -- the board choses the liberal CNN over the balanced FNC, even though FNC is the number one cable network.

These popovers are plain and look like the Pillsbury Dough boy's hat, but are to die for. I am not a big pastry eater, but I could make an entire meal on them. Heck I could make three days worth of meals on them.

As far as Rush is concerned, he made me so mad one day on one of his Bestiality Kicks that I sent him an e-mail and referred to him as a stupid juvenile acting @$$hole. I am not the least bit sorry about that, I am sure he has been called worse. I just think here he was rattling cages. Mostly I agree with him and realize he is somewhat flawed, as most people are, he is just out there showing all his foibles 15 hours a week.

We could win on Kelo but we're not pounding the issue. Eminent domain has been in the news in Baltlimore a lot lately due to something they do called "Quick Take" whereby they could take a person's property before they even had a use for it. They could take it just to assenble a package of properties that they could then shop to developers. They have been doing this for a long time. One man who owned and operated a bar for about 25 years had his bar taken and took the city to court. He just won his case.
People assume that the evil conservatives on the Supreme Court voted in favor of eminent domain. The 'rats and media are happy to have them think that. The pubbies must never have even realized what a powerful decision it was. Sad.

That does not mean that Tony has to even respond to those Nazi's from CNN. One day soon it will be a "weekend at Helen's" right in front of our eyes in the Press room. Who will let anyone know? maybe they will just have her stuffed and placed there forever. I would hate to be that Taxidermist.......

Sestak tries to be so clam and collected, so above it all. How does a man lead men with a sanctimonious super-soft phony voice like his? It reminded me of Anita Hill testifying.
To: rodguy911
Dunno if Lindsey would let anyone else get that close.
Kidding .. ;) I frankly don't know, but since he's been gone
from Congress awhile and is a popular public figure in his own
right now, I wouldn't think his recent statements indicate a real closeness to McCain, who's proven himself to be a pretty unhinged, unpredictable and emotionally unstable person, in my view.
