Call to take Christian refugees March 12, 2007 11:00pm http://www.news.com.au/sundaymail/story/0,,21369331-953,00.html
THE Reverend Fred Nile says Australia should give priority to Christians fleeing persecution in Muslim countries and stop Muslim immigration for a decade.
Mr Nile, leader of the Christian Democratic Party and member of the NSW Upper House, has called for a 10-year moratorium on Muslim immigration to Australia.
There had been no serious study of the potential effects on Australia of the more than 300,000 Muslims who were already here, he said.

How about forever?
I'll say this. If Queen Hillary, Barack Hussein, or Silky Pony wins, it makes Australia just look that much more attractive.
Where do I sign up?
Fred Nile has been on the front lines of Christian activism in Australia for some 20 years or so.
He's Australia's version of Jerry Falwell in one sense but considering he's held public office perhaps he should be called the Ian Paisley of Australia, too.
If Hillary gets elected president, we need to split the US up.
Contrary to the point made in the article, I don't think we need a 'study' into the effects if muslims intergrating into a christian country. The evidence is obvious to everyone... We only need to look at the riots in paris in 2005, where muslims rioted unchallenged for over a week, destroying everything in sight. What about the riots in the UK cities of leeds and oldham, which destroyed million of dollars in property, and resulted in over 200 injuries just to police alone. Need I mention 9/11, the July 7 bombings in London, the madrid train bombings, and the numerous other regional terrorist netwerks around the world regularly commiting murder and violence, in non-muslim countries. The islamic community always bleats the mantra .. "not all muslims are terrorists", I would agree. But there is also the point that "the vast majority of terrorists are muslims".
I would love to see a complete ban on muslim immigration to australia. And would support an effort to remove those already here, who have not yet achieved citizenship. But it seems that the muslim community is a minority that is being courted by the politicians, and thus those in canberra are very unlikely to say or do anything to provoke electoral retaliation by the muslims. Its unfortunate that the politicians don't realise the strength of feeling amongst ordinary australians on this issue. And if they do, then they are too gutless to take a risk by speaking out, and supporting the majority of the community.
To take a look at other countries. I have been to japan many times, and its the most safe, beautiful and orderly country in the world. And their policy is not to allow immigration unless absolutely nessecary. So.... no muslims. Same for Hong Kong. Same for Korea.
The asian countries have the right idea. And I can honestly say that the chinese, japanese and koreans are the most racist people on the planet. And their racism manifests itself as refusing to let in foreigners, and this result is a peaceful and safe country. I don't like their racism, but I respect their strong fight to protect and maintain the cultural and ethnic makup of their country, but not opening it up to people from other counties who would refuse to immigrate, and riot in the streets at the smallest provocation.
Unfortunately, Australia is far too politically correct for its own good. Australians don't want immigration, but we are being sold out by our government for lofty ideals of global equality.
