BAGHDAD, Sunday, March 18 — Three suicide bombers driving trucks loaded with explosives and tanks of chlorine gas detonated their payloads in Anbar Province on Friday, killing at least two Iraqi police officers and wounding or sickening more than 350 people, the American military command said Saturday.

Police and hospital officials, however, said that as many as eight people had been killed.

Insurgents began combining explosives with chlorine gas and other chemicals in January in an effort to sow more fear and havoc among civilians, military officials say.

Michael Moore's Minutemen (as he calls them on his Web site) are at work again. U.S. policy on WMDs is essentially “Nuclear = Chemical = Biological,” and the use of any of these against U.S. forces (and presumably people under our protection) invites retaliation in kind. President Bush would be 100 percent justified in authorizing the use of nuclear weapons on the terrorists, assuming that a suitable target could be found. The light damage radius of a 1-kiloton weapon is about a mile, so the terrorist camp or whatever should be at least that far from anything we don’t want to destroy.

Remember, these are the people whom Michael Moore calls "Minutemen."

The point is, they did it. They'd use something stronger if they could.

The NY Times reported that the tanks of chlorine gas were probably going to be used to disinfect the swimming pools of some top Halliburton executives living in Iraq, but the tanks were inadvertently exploded during the torture of an innocent insurgent who was being burned in the genitals with a soldering iron.

If Al Qaeda had nuclear weapons, they would use them. They are pure evil - a fact the libs in this country have buried since 9/11.

Mustard gas is ILLEGAL under international law. When is the MSM going to call these people "terrorists"?

I also thought there was no mustard gas in Iraq.

It was chlorine gas, but that is still an illegal chemical weapon.

You forgot to add that Dick Cheney held the soldering iron under the direct orders of President Bush, and that Halliburton stole the Chlorine from the Iraq Government that was using it to disinfect the public drinking water and thus millions will die of dysentery and cholera. /Sarcasm

Dichloro-diethyl sulfide (ClCH2CH2)2S. It contains chlorine, but its mechanism of action is diffferent.
