We had only a 30 minute ride to Philadelphia to catch the bus with Doctor Raoul's group but we had sleet last evening and all night. My car was totally frozen. So I know exactly how you feel. I'm feeling a little better after spending nearly all day on these threads and seeing the photos; I was going to be away anyway! I'm not taking my GOE armband off my coat, tho; I want everyone to see it and ask what it means.
I thought storms like this only hit Ohio where I lived for 12 years. I knew we'd pay for this early spring weather! 78 last Tuesday!
'..I'm not taking my GOE armband off my coat...want everyone to see it and ask what it means.'
Know how you feel. I couldn't be there physically but sure was in spirit....today I wore the tee shirt I got at last September's FR rally to Support the Troops and Their Mission.
The irony for us is that it was just fine here, and it was just fine in DC, but we couldn't get from here to there.
Our massive poster, heavy coats, hats and buttons with our son's picture on them were on the table ready to go, and our bags packed.
Sad day for us.
btw, what part of Ohio did you live in? Some parts are REALLY snowy........others not so bad.
