No Tennessean has carried his home state's electoral votes since Andrew Jackson. Can the Republicans afford to cede Tennessee to the 'Rats?

I was kidding about Fred Thompson not being able to carry Tennessee...historical precedents don't always apply. Besides, I forgot about John Bell carrying Tennessee in 1860 (see post #30).
