Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) chairs a House Oversight and Government Reform Ctme. hearing on the disclosure of CIA Agent Valerie Plame Wilson's identity. The hearing will look into whether White House officials followed appropriate procedures for safeguarding the identity of Ms. Wilson.

She is now saying someone else told her to write up that email

They let her get away with saying hey, what the hell, my cover was blown so why not plaster my photo on Vanity Fair?

But no one had seen her picture, and if protecting an agent's identity is so important to her work, other agents, etc, come on who is she kidding? She gets to do that in public while crying about her secret status??

The story told by PLame on how her husband was sent to Niger is a fabrication. Joe Wlson has bristled that this was not nepotism. I wonder if anyone will bring up the fact that Wilson went to Niger first in 1999 at CIA expense. Wilson was never ambassador to Niger. This was a phony trip to advance Wilson's personal business, as was the first trip.

I mean please are they all pretending she can just ignore what Wilson did because "it's my husband, not me." It was all totally related to a CIA mission she sent him on. I haven't heard about her throwing any pots and pans at him over this.

Are they asking her whether she thought what he did was just ducky with her? Obviously it was.
