Victoria Toensing will clear that up in her testimony. She wrote the law.
I just got on this thread, has anybody even bothered to challenge this woman?
(The one with the bleach-blond hair and the smirk)
Re "he did it" if that means the Novak column ---
Novak has said that he filed his column that was published on Monday, July 14th, on Friday July 11. The Associated Press is who he filed the copy with, so anyone with access to AP material had all weekend to see the column.
I believe that this is how Russert etc found out about it. Now, from Plame's testimony, it seems possible that someone also gave ol' Joe a heads-up before Monday morning.
Maybe it's one of the things the Republicans aren't allowed to ask. Some questions are off limits.
I am to the point that I cannot even LOOK at anyone who works in D.C. because I think they are all a pack of liars thinking they are putting on some kind of show for the rest of us.

Slap yourself.....this is a rat-fest for Val
I just read an article totally supportive of her but at the end it stated her CIA colleagues turned against miss "protect my identity" after that stunt!
Or what people can read in her husband's 'Who's Who' entry...where he listed her name.
Ditto!
The thing that just kills me is that they seem so PROUD of what they have done; so damn self-rightous about it.
If it was me, I couldn't live with myself, knowing what I would have done to this country down the road.
Watson says she's been there and had the training
Watson worked at the CIA??
If only they were this furious over the NSA leaks
Toensing is going to testify? Thank goodness this hearing will have some semblance of sanity.
Of course, that is when the cameras go off.
It's all a show for the Democrats; this has NOTHING to do with the truth OR helping this country.
Do you have a link to that article?
Scheduled to testify Friday were attorney Mark Zaid, who has represented whistle-blowers; attorney Victoria Toensing, who said early on that no law was broken and has criticized the CIA's handling of the case, and J. William Leonard, security director of the National Archives, who was to discuss general procedures for handling sensitive information.
"Of course, that is when the cameras go off."
Count on it!
For God's sake, why doesn't a republican hold up the Vanity Fair "spy" photo and say to her "you're kidding, right?"
Does this committee consist of only Democrats? If not, why have all the GOP members not shown up?
I hope the people on this forum who have been bragging since the elections that they are happy they taught the GOP a lesson are enjoying this dog and pony show.

The very idea of Waxman sitting where he is now, should have been enough to scare people into voting R. However, how many Americans have any idea who Waxman is or more to the point = what he is.
I know that before Nov this tableau gave me nightmares.
