ON CAPITOL HILL Valerie Wilson Testifies
Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) chairs a House Oversight and Government Reform Ctme. hearing on the disclosure of CIA Agent Valerie Plame Wilson's identity. The hearing will look into whether White House officials followed appropriate procedures for safeguarding the identity of Ms. Wilson.

And according to Wikipedia: "Valerie suffered from post-partum depression after their birth, and became a spokesperson for the disease."
First of all, has post-partum depression been officially catagorized as a disease by the medical field? Secondly, how does someone who is a covert, undercover agent for the CIA offer themselves as a spokesperson for this "disease"? Wouldn't that compromise their so-called cover by putting themselves out in the public forum?
This "hearing" makes no sense. Plame makes no sense. Why is she so EVERYWHERE if she's concerned about her "covert status" and identity being known? Why doesn't anyone on this mockery of a committee ask the questions?
This is the crap that happens when demonrats are in the majority. Does anyone else remember Henry Gonzales? Sheesh!

There is absolutely no basis to bring prosecution against anyone else, or it would have been done long time ago, no matter "how" he said it. He also said that Valerie Plame was "classified" (not "covert") and that there was a "cloud" over VP...
His "office" is now only in existence to cover the appeals and post-trial issues. The case is over.

Yes, it's about time someone got it into the Congressional Record that it was the loathsome leftist David Corn of "The Nation" (neo-Stalinist fishwrap) who first printed the name Valerie Plame in this connection, amidst a hilarious diatribe that was obviously channeling Joe Wilson's talking points. It is clear from this July 16, 2003 column that Joe Wilson and David Corn were bosom buddies and that Wilson was telling Corn all sorts of nonsense:

I just called the Minority of the Committee at 202-225-5074, and asked where the Republicans were during the questioning of Victoria. The aide said that 'Davis was there', and I told him I didn't hear any questions asked, and that the Republicans were derelict in their duties by being absent. They were elected to represent Republicans, and they did not do their job! That really irritates the hell out of me. I'm sorry for my language but the Democrats and Republicans are really getting to me. Reminds me of a picture I have of a frazzled woman, who says, "When I got up this morning, I had one nerve left, and damned if you haven't stepped on it already." That describes my mood right now.
A caller to Rush just said it looks like Armitage is a covert agent -- everyone's doing all they can to protect his identity! LOL!
