I see we're up to about 50% Rudybots on FreeRepublic now. I said McCain, not because I think he's acceptable but because I think he could beat Rudy, whose nomination would return us to the GOP of Gerald Ford and Nelson Rockefeller. I wanted no part of the GOP then, and I would want no part of it if Rudy were nominated. On the other hand, if McCain actually got the nomination, he might pick an acceptable VP and then die.

Then the GOP better grow a pair and start endorsing a conservative.

Write-in. A choice between a liberal and a kook is no choice.

Held my nose as I voted for Rudy. At least he has executive experience runnning NYC and I can't recall him ever backstabbing his own party while trying to appear as a consensus seeking, Dem bootlicking, media whore.

I bet most social conservatives will side with McCain.
This is McCain's angle.

Third party. Don't know which one I would choose. Maybe just write in "dynachrome"

I'm hoping we are not stuck with only a choice between those two. Don't accept the media polls conducted by those who would like to narrow our field of choices.
The time to make a difference is now, before the primaries/convention etc. It takes more than moaning and groaning and lip service. As they say "talk is cheap". Get behind your guy and damn the torpedoes.
Even a little effort in the right direction will help a lot this early in the game.

Third Party without a doubt
To: JeanS
My vote was write in. There are others that I would rather write in over those two. There is no way that I would ever sit out an election.
