Let's see if you can give me a real reason for this idiotic law?
There have been plenty of reports written about the extreme negative impact that gambling has on American society. I'm not going to repeat what others have spent many hours proving.
State lotteries and other forms of gambling are legal because addicts and those who prey on them still have the right to vote, and in some areas, sufficient numbers are politically active.
The reason for this law is that there are large numbers of people who do not have the basic moral "fiber" to stick to working hard and making an honest living, who get lured into games of chance, and the result has been countless ruined lives. We who DO have such moral fiber are sick and tired of paying for the damage your kind cause to yourselves, your families, and our society as a whole.

Lemme fix that for you:
There have been plenty of reports written about the extreme negative impact that gambling, guns, free speech, smoking, fast food, body odor, loud noises, music I don't like and the 70 mph speed limit has on American society.

That way is true freedom. Your way is not.

I'm reminded of a guy my grandmother knew. In her words, "He doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, doesn't swear, doesn't gamble, doesn't chase after women -- and he's the biggest
bastard I ever met in my life!" ;-)
(I think this was sort of a disappointment to my grandmother -- she was pretty straightlaced!)

(The 2nd Amendment is NOT a "social conservative" issue.)

You sound like an SS Trooper jonesing to turn on the Chemical "showers" in a death camp to "purge our ranks" of the morally inferior. It is both disturbing and disgusting, but not surprising. Jesus had men like you pegged, HE said you are whitewashed tombs, clean on the outside but full of death on the inside.

(you can only trust government to grow, consolidate power and infringe upon your liberties.)
