If there's one thing that most FReepers have in common, it's that they wouldn't make it 15 minutes in politics. "My way or the highway" doesn't work when you're in the business of compromise. Especially when you're holding lousy cards, like we are.

Many of these clowns would happily go "ALL in" with no pairs, no flush, and no straight. I would love to play poker against them. All bluffing all the time.

Oddly, I agree that compromise is necessary.

However, there is no need to compromise a year out of an election when picking your own party's nominee.

And we are not holding lousy cards, we are holding the correct philosophy to make our country strong. If Republicans do not stand for the right policies, what's the point of electing them at all?
