52% of Republicans would definitely vote for Giuliani. Only 8% would definitely vote against him. That puts in perspective all those Rudy wars on this site.

It's official. 52% of Republicans are RINOs.

Don't the voters usually always vote for the best of the worst? I haven't seen any real good candidates since Eisenhower, Goldwater and Reagan.

Well, first of all, I suppose we should all just pack it in because the political deal has been set, it's Rudy versus Hillary. The MSM, the country club elites, and the polls have deemed it so, therefore, everyone can just now go home.
It's a long road from here to there, but if the RNC and others have indeed anointed Rudy then so be it. In that case, the RNC won't see a dime from me, nor will they get my help as a foot soldier, and I won't vote for the guy. Even if he were to win in 2008 that would be fine with me, my conscience would be clear. And when all the hand-wringing and caterwauling starts about how a President Rudy plunged a dagger into Republicans over and over again, I know I did my part to in the resistance.
The facts are:
Rudy is pro-gun control
Rudy is pro-abortion
Rudy is pro-homosexual marriage
Rudy ran as a Republican in NY for convenience
Rudy endorsed Democrat Mario Cuomo over Republican George Petaki

52% of Republicans would definitely vote for Giuliani. Only 8% would definitely vote against him. Does this mean that the true Republican base consists of only 8% of those who call themselves Republican? /s
