I heard this report and in the audio, President Bush actually said - I am not making this up - "The border should be a uniter, not a divider". Good grief.
Bush is really losing it. Anyone else counting the days until January 20, 2009?
He is no long representing the majority of Americans!
I wonder if President Bush translated the statement himself or if Felipe Calderon actually wrote the statement in English?

Who could know that Bush wanted to be First Lady of Mexico more than President of the United States?
Jimmy Carter redux.
blahblahblah blahblah blah blah blah...
Why not simply say that?
"The border should be a uniter, not a divider".
What a moron, we're screwed!
There certainly has, Mr. President. The GOP no longer controlls Congress. So the members in the GOP House who blocked your shamnesty plan are no longer in a position to do such, and the new Dem majority plans on having a draft bill by late spring. Which you will, from all indications, cheerfully sign. Who cares if that causes the GOP to implode? You're not running for office ever again.
Unbelievable.
He actually drank the water down there.
It's malaria. And he's delusional.
That explains today. What about the rest?
Thank you President RINO.
The mans an idiot!
Starting to scare the hell out me!
What the hell is wrong with him?
>> President Bush, seeking to rebuild ties with Mexico, ...
Perhaps President Bush should seek to rebuild his ties with the United States..
Bush also said this:
"I say important because a good migration law will help both economies and will help the security of both countries," Bush said. "If people can come into our country, for example, on a temporary basis to work, doing jobs Americans aren't doing, they won't have to sneak across the border."
He never mentioned all the anchor babies that Americans are FORCED to pay for.

Maybe it's time to give Mexico a good kick in the pants and tell it to shape up and quit parasiting us.
"Bush, facing a huge fight within his own party for his immigration plan, called it an important but sensitive issue. "I say important because a good migration law will help both economies"
Yup.
It all depends on WHO's economy....LOL
