Or he simply wised up and realizes he can make an exit, and perhaps have his family slipped out of Iran and take on a life of luxuary in some western land. I for one do not forget there are probably a lot of Iranian military officers that want no part of the Mullahs. Many of them would much rather be interfacing with the US with no frictions between the two countries. These guys are not stupid, nor radical Islamist, they are military people who take on different views then the politicians.
