I saw the movie this past weekend and can't recall a Hollywood production with an overall message even remotely similar to the one '300' had. I wonder what's going on? I'm sure liberals are claiming it is propaganda for an upcoming war against Persia ... eh ... Iran.

As West noted, Aristotle thought courage was the most important virtue of all because it makes possible all other virtues.

This bears repeating. Often and loudly. Aristotle was a man of genius and his wisdom rings true all the way from the 3rd century BC.

In the hit new film "300," Marines see parallels between the current war in Iraq and the film's story, which tells of hopelessly outnumbered Spartans fighting heroically to the death against mighty Persian invaders at the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC.

What parallels would those be??

Yep. No surprise there.

A friend saw it at Miramar and he said they were cheering all through the movie.

God I hope this film helps people remember what the hell it is they are fighting for.

WAKE UP AMERICA
