Ah, but is "the people" a collective, or individuals?

My opinion is that a collective consists of individuals, a collective is not possible without individuals and so "the people" is always both - individual and collective, so that individually and collectively we reserve the right to keep and bear arms.

We the people made a 'collective' decision over two hundred years ago that our individual rights will not be infringed. -- We're still fighting the collectivist creeps that disagree.
