"I am so sorry to learn the tragic news concerning anchor Tolly Carr. He is in my prayers."

This is sickening. Carr's innocent victim should be in people's prayers, not the famous homicidal drunk.

Libloather's got it right. I've watched Tolly Carr grow professionally over the years...but he deserves no more pity than any average Joe that would have committed the same crime. He took a life, & from all accounts I've read (most coming from Casey's family & friends)...Tolly was a belligerent drunk that night....refused the taxi, chucked out of a couple bars...refused help at the scene & argued w/ people about calling 9-1-1. My pity for him is gone & is only growing immensely for Casey's family. I certainly can't blame them for their anger. What a waste of a promising life!
