Savage seems to be upset at the fact that we aren't too upset about Halliburton moving onto Dubai. It isn't like there's anything we can legally do about it anyway. We have to be careful when anyone says, "There should be a law."

Savage sometimes has a very poor sense of what story will capture the public's imagination & attention.

I recall how passionate he was about The Bakers Dozen A Capella beatdown story a while back, though it was clear to me that the story didn't have national legs. He pushed it for several days before his producer or someone got to him and said 'drop it, it's dull.'

That being said, he has scored huge in the past - The Dubai Ports deal, for example.

Haliburton moves to Dubai is just a dud of a story.
