Welcome to the list.
While I have not met your dad, I did meet some of his staffers when I lived and worked in Northern VA for a a year in 2005. They spoke highly of your dad and they mentioned he had "stationed" them at Walter Reed to make sure the Pendleton guys were getting good care.
Right now, I am a Rudy supporter, and there are more than several of us. Do you think it is in the best interests of your dad's campaign to accuse those of us who support Rudy as not being "real conservatives"? Please note that I am not saying you agree with this or not. But I can't help but wonder what you think of this.
Good luck in the campaign.
Do you think it is in the best interests of conservatives to support a liberal? (Let's try to remember that this isn't NYC, there are actually conservatives running.)
That's putting him on the spot. But fair enough. Hunter himself has stated he needed no consultants to make him sound conservative like the other guys do. I think you have the answer right there.
That's really not what he's here for. To settle our internal squabbles.
If you want my answer, I think both sides need to tone down the rhetoric and deal with the issues.
IMO,if you start asking questions like this, it's going to end up a discussion about the various camps behavior.
BTW, I stayed off all Rudy threads yesterday, and made no snide comments regarding him either.
I wonder how many others, from both sides, can say the same.
Please site examples where Duncan Hunter or those in his campaign staff have done what you have accused him of doing. Thanks.
