COMCAST took over ADELPHIA here in Frederick County, Maryland.

I thought that might explain the slow page loading, etc., as they are transitioning this week I believe.

But, my cable connection here at the office is just as bad.

It's frustrating and hard to Freep at this pace, isn't it?

I am finding the web to be slow the past few days. Not just FR.

Me too. And I have a cable internet service.

Ditto here and we have T1. Glad to hear it's not just me and hope they can resolve their problems soon.

It's been going on for several weeks, but is getting worse all the time. Yesterday it was as good as unavailable for a while. It is still doing whatever it is today.

Jim saw BobJ's thread the other day about diminishing Alexa hits and decided to throttle back bandwidth needs. :)

They just had one and that is usually when the system acts up. This one is happening inbetween, and that is alarming.

Was going to ask this so glad somebody posted it.

Ran every utility I had thinking the problem was on my end. Needed to do it anyway. Came back and FR was still slow. I went to other sites and the pages loaded with no delays at all so I knew something was up with FR.
