Clinton: Vast Right Wing Conspiracy Is Real
(AP) WASHINGTON Presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton told Democrats Tuesday the "vast, right-wing conspiracy" is back, using a phrase she once coined to describe partisan criticism.
Speaking to Democratic municipal officials, the New York senator used the term to hammer Republicans on election irregularities.
Clinton was first lady when she famously charged allegations of an affair between her then-president husband Bill Clinton and White House intern Monica Lewinsky were the result of a conservative conspiracy.
As evidence of the affair eventually came to light, the comment was ridiculed.
On Tuesday, she insisted the conspiracy is alive and well, and cited as proof the Election Day 2002 case of phone jamming in New Hampshire, a case in which two Republican operatives pleaded guilty to criminal charges, and a third was convicted.
"To the New Hampshire Democratic party's credit, they sued and the trail led all the way to the Republican National Committee," Clinton said.
"So if anybody tells you there is no vast right-wing conspiracy, tell them that New Hampshire has proven it in court," she said.

That number seems less than vast.
Ooooh! Did you get a badge and a beanie, too? I want to join up. How much are annual dues? - Yes. Someone tell Her Rodhamness that, indeed, the VRWC is real . . very real . . . very, very real . . . . and it eats hors d'oevres like her for lunch every day . .
Didn't she, um, Bill Clinton's wife, issue an edict to other Dim wannabes that impeachment was not to be discussed on the campaign trail?
VRWC really stands for Vast Right Wing Commonsense. I hope it's back.
We've already seen the politics of personal destruction turn on Democratic front-runners in recent months. That is not something that could last when there are no visible Repulbicans to blame it on. Right now, Republicans don't have a stake in taking down one or other of the Democratics -- only Democratics do.
That's why they need to resurrect the "vast right-wing conspiracy" to hide behind.

Nope... just the basic Photoshop package...
Short answer = #2?
Nope, she really doesn't believe this crap. But the moonbat wing of the Rat party does, and she's making her play for them. They distrust her because of her refusal to recant her Iraq vote, and they also think she's owned by corporate America, and that's why she has so very much campaign cash.
She really doesn't have anything to sell them except playing to their paranoia. I've hunted for this story over at DU, and nobody's mentioned it yet, as far as I can see. It will be interesting to see if they regard it as a cynical ploy to get them to think more kindly of her candidacy.
Her worst nightmare is to get the Rat nomination, then have a Green Party type anti-war candidate on the ballot in November, 2008. She has to give the moonbats an incentive to stay within the party.
I'm from South of the Mason Dixon too!
I actually looked it up before posting. I heard Anne Coulter use it once. It means "lying," but sounds more, you know-- poetical.
Usually when I try to be emphatic I just cuss.
Maybe that's better.
You can add to that list of "Dem chicanery" (1) the "Motor Voter" Act (the first bill signed by Bubba during his presidency); (2) the order by WJC to the INS to suspend criminal background checks on citizen applications - so that the "new Americans" could be processed in time to register and vote for the Dummycrats in 1996; and (3) the Dem judge in St. Louis keeping the polls open beyond statutory voting hours - ? year). That's just a small sampling of a long history of Dummyfraud at the polling place. Probably something like 90% of all election fraud and tricks in the last century was (were) perpetrated by HRC's party, much of that by their big city machines.</p>
Aside from the empty dress, you might also have noticed that she's due for new injections and/or cosmetic surgery on her face - judging from the photo accompanying the article!
ohhhhhhhhhhhh, the St. Louis keeping the polls open deal was 2000, and helped that woman, the grieving widow Carnahan, defeat John Ashcroft.
"Does the blue dress make me look fat"? "Not half as much as those stupid pantsuits you stomp around in."
