I read a biography on Karl Marx once that talked about how he saw the division of labor in the communist movement--the thinkers and the foot soldiers. He, of course, was a thinker, a leader, someone who would never have to work. Some people are even considering that he did not write some of the articles credited to him, that Frederick Engles wrote them instead. Marx was lazy. The only thing that goaded him into any type of activity was jealousy that someone else would beat him to the exposure he wanted for himself. He never cared the slightest bit for the worker. He just saw writing about it as a way to get attention for himself.
