If the seas are rising and we cannot stop it, it will be more expensive than any endeavor in human history. Consider how it cost to relocate a few hundred thousand people in New Orleans. Compare that to millions of people in New York City and Beijing and most of the other largest cities in the world.
We will need all our resources and certainly don't need to blow money on reducing CO2 without proof it will help.
