"Hollywood has a thing for Al Gore and his three-alarm film on global warming, “An Inconvenient Truth,” which won an Academy Award for best documentary. So do many environmentalists, who praise him as a visionary, and many scientists, who laud him for raising public awareness of climate change.
But part of his scientific audience is uneasy. In talks, articles and blog entries that have appeared since his film and accompanying book came out last year, these scientists argue that some of Mr. Gore’s central points are exaggerated and erroneous. They are alarmed, some say, at what they call his alarmism.
“I don’t want to pick on Al Gore,” Don J. Easterbrook, an emeritus professor of geology at Western Washington University, told hundreds of experts at the annual meeting of the Geological Society of America. “But there are a lot of inaccuracies in the statements we are seeing, and we have to temper that with real data.”.."
If you haven't seen it, you should. It is devastating to the religion of Global Warming.
Curious. Has Algore hinted that he might jump into the presidential race? The more moonbats running on the Democrat side, the more difficult it will be for the "moderate" candidates to run to the center after they get beaten and bloodied by the nomination battle.

Yep. And they want Hillary bad enough to drop their cheerleading for global warming alarmists. Which tells us what we already knew about the genuineness of the Times belief in the "science" behind global warming alarmism. If they really believed all the junk they've been helping promote, it would be a tad more important to them than getting Hillary into the White House.

IMO, the thinking here is that Global Warming® was hijacked by a man with a messiah complex; time to kill the messenger (which also plays into the whole messiah thing, so this could be interesting).

Today - Sheppard Smith interviewed "expert" on buying credits to be carbon gas negative in order to "save" the planet. Sheppard Smith stated something to the effect: it is about time people accepted global warming as fact .....because if we don't act now........we are doomed. I'm paraphasing. But it was on his show today and Sheppard was aw..full of it. Global bloviating as fact, not his opinion.

Thanks for pointing me to that thread! I didn't know he was gung-ho on global warming.....I had heard rumors that he was gay and I had a hard time believing it. I do remember I thought his reporting on Katrina was biased!!
