I've been saying for years that we should have citizens declare if they are pro-life or anti-life. Then deny all the anti-lifers Social Security benefits since they are the reason the scheme will be bankrupt soon.

I've been saying the same for years here on FR.

But it's nice to see a major figure gets it and broadcasts it. Because if he gets it, then it's a strong bet that other prominent persons have heard it and are thinking the same thing.

It really is all about demographics. The demographic changes that are coming are going to throw our USA into a social and economic cat5 storm. This is no Chicken Little hyperbole, it is a certainty because the age demographics are there for all to see. What statisticians have seen brewing for years is just now moving towards center stage in politics.

Member last year when Bush said his SS privatization plan was defeated and the Dems all stood and cheered at the SOTU speech? How much is the market up from that day and how big was the SS raise? Even if you didn't want shares in the market, a bond is paying 4-5% vs 1% from SS.

I definitley disagree with Roe V. Wade and the whole pro-abortion movement but look at these numbers:

1940 US Pop: 132 million
US Military 1945: 7+ Million Active
