I haven't met this woman...she is about my age and a retired school teacher....Mom and her go to church together and out to eat afterwards every Sat night....this isn't the first time she has upset my mom with the Bush hating crap...my mom needs to ignore or speak up to her...she does neither, instead she calls me all upset wanting to know if the latest thing is true.
Awww, bless your poor mother's heart. Try this to help her out. Those gossip magazines use the following excuse in court when they get sued: "Nobody believes it, so we're not breaking the law." In other words, they admit to lying. I've read that at least one of them admits to thinking up the crazy, untrue stories and then asks which writer wants to write it. If I remember correctly, that was also used an an excuse in court.
