Since I'm a guy, I can confess to you that I was disconsolate when Laurie Dhue left..
Another example of how lib reporters bury facts, so they can say "yes, I wrote that" about news they dislike. These are the final three paragraphs of a sixteen paragraph article on Bush's 'worst president ever' poll numbers:
Congress' job approval, at 32 percent, was weaker than Bush's. It has remained essentially unchanged for the last three months, since a 5-point honeymoon bounce in the first week of the term. Curiously, approval among Democrats for the Democratic-ruled Congress slipped slightly this month, down to 33 percent from 39 percent last month. In particular, support fell among Democratic men, from 44 percent last month to 34 percent this month.
There was not a single subgroup in the AP-Ipsos poll where a majority approved of the job Congress is doing.
The AP-Ipsos poll of 1,000 adults was conducted March 5-7. It had a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Ah, yes, your right! She wanted Gretchen Wilson job, which Wilson got from E D Hill, who Chetry thought she'd be first choice to replace.
It was Paula Zahn who was doing the secret salary negotiation, if my now coffee-enfused memory now remembers!
I have received several freepmails from EC who says she has completed the top ten but not yet posted, hopefully it's forthcoming soooooon!!
You know, there's the germ of a panel discussion show here..starring Kirin Chetry, Rita Cosby, and Paula Zahn...we could call it "Three White Chicks Dissing Roger Ailes"
I agree. His NBC Contract will probably prohibit him from making any political announcements. Or if he decides to back John McCain he will not be able to announce yet.
Morning AB, All....
Am home today due to a freak snowstorm which dropped a blizzard of 1/2 an inch or so of snow here in the swamps of Delaware. Which led to the cancellation of choir practice which led to the cancellation of singing this morning which led to me going to mass yesterday which leaves me free this morning.
Got a whole lot, a WHOLE lot, going on in my life here as concerns Republicans and politics. Will give one quick one right now as I am going to do a Blog post about it all.
But I had a meeting with the Sussex County Executive poobahs in the GOP re my "controversial" article I submitted for their newsletter (Which THEY asked me for!). They were very nice but it was same ole, same ole....
"Once we had a club that was very divided," the exec VP told me. "So we've stopped ANY kind of editorial in our newsletter," she continued whilst assuring me that my article was very well-written and that I was a writer of the highest caliber.
I mentioned that the National GOP lady just spoke to our group and she said that national membership was down by 10% and they didn't know why. I suggested, softly and humbly, that the drop in membership not to mention the losses in this November past was because "conservatives" were a bit tired of blue-blood spineless republicans who do NOT advance, much less fight for, true conservative causes.
The local GOP poobah sat up smartly and said "This Sussex county chapter has increased its membership by about 10%" and this comment made me smile. And of course, I had to break this woman out of her balloon....
"But Sussex county's population has increased SIX TIMES the national rate and indeed, all of Delaware's population has increased FOUR times the national rate in the past five years," I said. "Who knows how many members you'd have if you'd quit avoiding "controversy"?"
This story of my innocent little article being rejected by the Republican party is the drama come to life as to why so very many of us are so disillusioned by the only national party we have to represent conservatives.
Below is the article these ladies refused to print. Forget I wrote it, folks. It's an INNOCENT, innocuous, totally true couple of paragraphs. The theme they charged me with writing about is "how women can make a difference". Damn I caught that theme perfectly in my little piece and cry, folks...cry your eyeballs out.
FOR THESE GOP WOMEN REJECTED IT!!! As follows:
I just wish gretchen was gone! I actually watched it this week since she was on vacation. I miss getting to see Brian and Steve, but I reallllllllllly can't stand that female.
Ailes had a choice between conservative Gretchen and liberal Kiran, so naturally he chose Gretchen. Kiran just couldn't stand the fact that Ms. Carlson was hired such a short time ago by Fox, yet bulldozed her way to the top. I've heard that Ms. Carlson is the second highest paid female at FNC now, second only to Greta Van Susteren. Gretchen's husband is Derek Jeter's agent, and I'm sure that Brian Kilmeade loves all of the strings that Gretch's husband can pull for him in the sports world.
Kiran was a drag on the show, and I think they're all glad that she's gone.
For goodness sakes, where is the controversy in that!? It would be easier to find Waldo.....
Can you see Thompson and Waters .. side by side .. in the
green room? Oh, I'd love to see a picture of that.

I bet Chuckie Schumer gets a better reception on FTN today than he did on Imus this past Friday!
Maxine coming out of hiding. This should be interesting and entertaining. Popcorn please. I hope she says some really stupid things.
Do tell!
What was the general tone of the comments about Fred?
Yep... they're better off without Kiran. Courtney may be a little short on brains.... but who cares?
Fred is not ruling out a run...he is leaving the door open.
Iran Tells US To Set Timetable For Iraq Exit

If I had not seen this who published this, I would of taken it for satire. Simply unbeliveable that the Democrat Party is taking it's talking points on today's shows from the same script the Mullahs in Iran are writing! Are these people in the US Congress really this completely clueless?
