I believe that the boys were wrong for trying to rob the store owner, but I also believe that the store owner is not telling the truth about the whole incident. First of all who shots someone in the head when he stated himself that the boy had the gun to the cashier head. I feel sorry about the whole incident, and for the family, and to think that we as a people have gotten so cold, if God would take punishment on us as soon as we do something wrong, NONE of us would be here. Think about it, my prayers are for the world as a whole, and I believe that that it is Tragedy."

Why?

First of all who shoots someone in the head when he stated himself that the boy had the gun to the cashier head.

It really makes sense when you think about it. Even a lethal shot to the body (heart) can take about 25 seconds to stop the perp, more than enough time to kill the gal or return fire, while a shot to the head can instantly stop the threat.

I agree it was a tragedy, but the tragedy was of the bad guys making, Jason Lee's actions were correct.
