Video shows aftermath of store owner shooting 2 robbery suspects
The Associated Press
PHILADELPHIA - A store owner shot two men who tried to rob him, killing one of them, in a confrontation that was partly recorded by a neighbor with a cell phone, police said.
The two men entered the North Philadelphia store at about 6:40 a.m. Thursday and announced a robbery, after which the owner and one of the men exchanged gunshots, said city police Sgt. Ron McClane.
A cell phone video shot by a nearby resident shows the aftermath outside the store, where the owner confronted one of the wounded robbers, police said. The video shows a man getting up and woozily trying to walk away and the owner, his gun drawn, pushing him to the ground.
A man in his 20s was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, said officer Yolanda Dawkins, a police spokeswoman. A man in his mid-20s was shot in the face and back and was taken to Einstein Medical Center, where he was in stable condition, she said.

I'll say this to those who call justice an act of revenge: it is not the satisfaction brought from the vengeance; it is the satisfaction of justice being served.
Why?
First of all who shoots someone in the head when he stated himself that the boy had the gun to the cashier head.
It really makes sense when you think about it. Even a lethal shot to the body (heart) can take about 25 seconds to stop the perp, more than enough time to kill the gal or return fire, while a shot to the head can instantly stop the threat.
I agree it was a tragedy, but the tragedy was of the bad guys making, Jason Lee's actions were correct.
".45-what?"
You dare, sir, even to doubt that it is the time honored and brutally effective _.45 ACP_ to which I referred to in my brilliant TV jingle parody!?
Heresy, sir, nay apostasy!
(Congrats again to brave store owner. Just a little more ballistic horsepower next time?)
;^)
Worked really well in this case, or I should these cases, since this is the second time Mr. Lee has defended himself with a firearm, each time killing one and wounding another.
He looks like such a gentle non aggressive sort too... well I guess the crooks found out that non aggressive doesn't necessarily mean sheep. :)
And feeling rather dissed I'd imagine, after that slender little Korean threw him to the ground and then put his foot on his chest, while pointing that weapon at him.
Boo FReeping Hoo.
Back in the Dark Ages, when we were in college, I worked with and went to college with a Korean guy who went by Jon Wong, IIRC. "Wong" was pretty close to the way he said it, but the "Jon" was an anglicized version of the way he pronounced it. Good guy, hard worker, and probably Chief Engineer somewhere by now.
He was a former ROK soldier too, but he'd served in one of the units that worked closely with the US forces, which he said was a lot less stressful than a regular ROK Army unit. Their NCOs rarely smacked them during inspections, for example.

"Hey, it's just a 1950s design."
It's a classic design. I was nearly post-boomer, so the Catwoman provided me with my bulletbra cultural point of reference as a youngster. I was beguiled by her.
"BTW, do you know anyone who's bought one from our site?"
No. I can authoritatively say that there have been NO purchases through this home.I popped by the bulletbra site after seeing the link, but my wife won't even let me buy PJs for her.
It's a bit of a catch-22 how to get the word out to friends who muight dig the whole look. Do you e-mail the link to your buddies, or their wives? Either way I feel there are potential pitfalls in passing along such info.
The gallery looks good. The young ladies (they would need about 5 to 10 years of seasoning to my taste) look like they are really enjoying the lift that bulletbras give to their figures.

Kind of like Mr. Kim, who owns a liquor store close to where I live. In the store, prominently displayed, is a poster for the RoK Special Forces, which features a decade or so younger Mr. Kim himself. Not someone I'd wish to tangle with, without reeeal goood cause...

You DO understand that I was quoting a stupid lib who posted this on the linked webpage.
If it made no sense, then the lib was successful.
