Fred Thompson has NOT come out in support of anyone during the present campaign! In the 2000 campaign he initially supported Lamar Alexander (a fellow Tenneseean). When Alexander's campaign folded, he switched his support to McCain. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Dalton_Thompson#Senate_career

Don't let the dust throwers here discourage you from finding out about Thompson for yourself. They have an agenda.
