Yes, McCain IS tanking; however, he has lots of money tied up and there's no way of knowing IF any of McCain's money and people would go to Thompson.

If John Glenn could roll Fred ( and oh YES, he certainly DID; sadly! ), then Hillary could do it with both hands tied behind her back.

John Glenn didn't roll Fred, he simply stonewalled the hearings so that nobody could tell what happened with the Clintons and ChiComs. Glenn betrayed his country for a ride on the space shuttle.

As for the campaign money, Fred will take over most of McCain's supporters, because I think this will be the way for Johnny Boy to bow out with a little bit of his arse left, he's going to kill any support Romney had in the South and Midwest, and some Rudy supporters are going to back up and think to themselves, "There's actually a conservative in this race?".
