LOL, Buchanan never had a chance and he knew it. He was just hoping to push the GOP platform in a direction he more approved of, nothing more and nothing less.
Plus, Pat really wasn't looking forward to actually having to learn the words to 'Deutchsland uber Alles'. LOL

Speaking of the eight years of the Dole Presidency...compare them to the eight years of the buchanan (purist) presidency. I think they're more closely aligned with the Administrations of President Keyes, don't you?
