We really do need to do something about everything that is going on in our nation! So many lies being told; news journalists "openly declaring political sides"---this is unbelievable. The moment I hear a commentator on TV siding with a particular party---I turn the channel! The Republican party has turned it's backs on us, it's followers. However, that does not mean I would ever switch parties. But I do like the idea of letting as many in the Republican party as possible know that we WILL NOT SUPPORT THEM UNTIL THEY START "FIGHTING BACK"!!!

I am so sick of all this "you might offend someone" speech by the liberals! Guess what? I'm sure, in some way, I "offend" someone every day of my life. But, in no way, am I going to walk on eggshells for any group, religion, or peoples of the world! AS A COUNTRY, WE ARE BECOMING TOO S-O-F-T! And this will lead to our own downfall. I DO NOT want to become like Europe, thank you very much. Has anyone thought of starting a "petition" to send to the Republican party headquarters---signed by Republicans???

I hear you. How many politicians do we have, who would rate as actually committed to reducing government bloat? In the 90's at least some Republicans would give it lip service. Then somehow they became "big government Republicans" or even "big government conservatives," who can anybody trust now? Majorities in Congress, solid President, and they couldn't find one single crappy little agency or department anywhere in the whole fat freaking Federal government to just bulldoze flat and pave over to give people a sign that things were going to get better, that our multi-decade National Nightmare of ever-increasing bureaucracy and regulations might be coming to an end. Instead they just wanted to run everything. That's why people were so despondent for last year's election. The dream of some slight reduction in the level of abuse we get from government on a daily basis, turned into seeing that the National Nightmare of the ever-increasing jiggle-your-elbow nanny-state was going to be a Permanent Nightmare with no end, ever. That's why people stayed home. We don't want to just populate over-inflated bureaucracies with a few RINOs in the top slots. We want big chunks of government either fixed for good or eliminated. Bloated, dysfunctional agencies are just abuse, no matter if they're run by blue shirts or red shirts.

Sorry to rant, I'm just really depressed.
