Yup. The oldest truth in the Bible.

"It's the woman's fault"

Who sinned first? (Clue: it weren't the man)

Who got the blame? (Clue: it weren't the woman)

Good point. May I also have the optional ceramic reinforcements? Eh. That sounds like almost begging. Sure, I feel generous. You know, right now. That could change.

"I understand women. They're soft, and they smell good and they're nuttier than squirrel poop. Every last one of them."

And I wouldn't want it any other way...

It's a good thing they're cute when they're mad.

I remember once, my wife wanted to have an argument, about what I forget. She accused me of some minor misdemeanor, like leaving the toilet seat up or putting the butter in hydrator shelf. I owned up right away, saying I shudna done it.

Unsatisfied, she beat on my chest with her little fists, her eyes glowing red, a firey glow emanating from the tiny follicles on her head, as she drove her point home. "Whadda ya say to that! Whadda ya say to that!", she demanded.

I gently held her shoulders in my hands, drew her up against my chest and said, "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more temperate and more fair." Game, set match to Lonesome. Best make up sex ever. Try it.

You may not know this, but she shot Andy Warhol.

^^
Well, see? Even the most odious person can have moments of noble behavior.

I'll bet you anything that woman has been seriously hurt by a man, or someone she loved was seriously hurt by a man. Whatever, her writing is geared to a certain audience and she probably doesn't believe half of what she's saying in her heart of hearts. I pity her for needing approval so badly and for being so in bondage to what her audience thinks of her. It's really sad.

What's even more sad is that she is no doubt spawning little flatterers and followers who will build on her anger with deadly seriousness and no sense of inappropriateness or how ridiculous they are.

She died in 1988 making her living as a prostitute, here is a link to a short biography (she is my favorite feminist)

http://www.womynkind.org/valbio.htm

From Wikipedia:
"The SCUM Manifesto (Society for Cutting Up Men Manifesto) is a misandrous tract written in 1968 by Valerie Solanas which advocated a violent anarchic revolution to create an all-female society.

Solanas was indicted for the attempted murder of Andy Warhol on June 3, 1968 (charges of attempted murder, assault, and illegal possession of a firearm). That August, she was declared incompetent to stand trial and was sent to Ward Island Hospital. At her arraignment for the Warhol shootings, she told the crowd of reporters and police: "Read my manifesto and it will tell you who I am."[1]

Later in life, and after serving a prison sentence for reckless assault with intent to cause bodily harm, Solanas tried to distance herself from the manifesto. In a July 25, 1977 interview with the Village Voice she claimed it was "Just a literary device . . . women who think a certain way are in SCUM. Men who think a certain way are in the men's auxiliary of SCUM."
