The Iranian's are simply "agent provocateur's" Stir it until it stinks. Then seek to float on top.
Though Muslim, I think them more Europian in culture.

Israel can better than well do the job.

But Israelis kicked their butt in '48 or so and they have since been fairly polite neighbors. Though Jordan did stir some ongoing mess with '68's Black Semtember.
