"..Presidential twin daughter Jenna Bush is publishing a new book she wants your young kids to read, and--surprise!--its heroine is a teen single mother with AIDS. So much for your kids having a childhood....
[snip]...And Bush has the audacity to tell USA Today that she envisions her teen-single-mother-with-AIDS book as having the same influence as Anne Frank's The Diary of Anne Frank."

I consider this an outrageous comment by Jenna - no way can this teenage mother with AIDS be compared to Anne Frank. Maybe Jenna wanted to outdo the reaction that Ann Coulter received. Nothing sells books like controversy.

She says she "very, very modestly" hopes her book will have some of the influence of two books about girls caught up in the Holocaust: Lois Lowry's novel Number the Stars and Anne Frank's The Diary of Anne Frank. http://www.wzzm13.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=72009 Or.....
And Bush has the audacity to tell USA Today that she envisions her teen-single-mother-with-AIDS book as having the same influence as Anne Frank's The Diary of Anne Frank." (from above)
Very biased spin, and shame on those who fell for it!
