Oh please, I am not timid in the least, I speak my mind quite well, and I don't expect that when I do, I need others to stand behind and defend me for doing it.
Ann decided to throw another 'shock bomb' out there, like she always does, to sell some more books... Fine for her. She's free to do it. And I'm free to say, big whoop, she's paying the price for it, and she knew exactly what she was doing when she did it.
She is without question the Howard Stern of the conservative pundent set, she's a big girl, she knows what she's doing. She wishes to do that, she's welcome to do it, but I, nor anyone else am obligated to defend her boorish behavior simply because she falls under the umbrella of conservative.
Ann does nothing more than follow the same model laid out by tons of others before... madonna, stern, etc etc.. shock and awe, and then sit back and wait for the money to roll in.
She's free to do it, but don't think for one minute that others are obligated to help her out, she's been doing pundentry for a long time, she knows exactly what she's doing, as do I, and she's a big girl, she wants to do that sort of thing, she's welcome to. However to say everyone who is a conservative MUST RALLY TO HER DEFENSE for her behavior is group think mentality that has a better home on the left than it ever will on the right.
