One of the major differences between liberals and conservatives is that liberals are much more susceptible to group think. Most on the left are content to accept the prevailing leftist talking points as their own without questioning any of the intellectual underpinnings of said argument. (Think global warming..)
Conservatives, on the other hand, are more likely to rely on the substance and facts of a debate instead of drawing their conclusions based on 'consensus' and 'feelings'. At least that used to be so.
Enter Ann Coulter.

Please elaborate...
"Please elaborate..."
no
It makes you wonder why she didn't marry her old boyfriend Bob Guccione, Jr. There has got to be quite of lot of money in being the Penthouse heiress by marriage.
LOL - just as I thought.
I'm sure I've read more of Ann Coulter's work than you and I've never seen her claim to represent anybody.
However, if you'd like to cite something she's written that supports your assertion, I'd be happy to read it.
Don't worry, I won't hold my breath.
Just as you "thought" nothing.
You didn't think, that was the problem.
I'll help you out.
1 I don't have time to write a book just to please you.
2.More importantly, naming names here would be the ultimate stupidity.
Guess you didn't "think" about that.
Now go away.
I whole-heartedly agree!!!
When she is a pundit on television, does she represent the conservative side or the liberal side? When she gives speeches, does she speak at conservative events or liberal ones?
Nice try at trying to obscure the issue by being obtuse though.
I didn't ask you to "name names" - sheesh, you sound like Elaine from Seinfeld.
To be clear, please elaborate on your "down and dirty" antics that get republicans elected.
Thus the next sentence of that post.
"Why the heck should I support that?" Because tomorrow or next week you may be the one to step in it. Would you want to be thrown to the dogs? If conservatives cannot stand together we will fall apart.
That's a perfectly valid thing to joke about, of course, but: what on earth does it have to do with John Edwards? Why didn't she make a joke about, say, airline food and use the phrase "John Edwards" in the same sentence?
Because that. would. make. no. sense. Right?
Well, neither did this "joke". It's a total non sequitur.
That makes him homosexual? Huh?
She needs to act like an adult and stop slurring people.
It reflects poorly on all conservatives.
So which is it ?
And we despise triangulation even more than political correctness so be careful how you answer that.
BUMP
I have an answer for this whole mess...
Be Safe - Buy Offensive Language Offsets Now!
http://chickenhawkexpress.blogspot.com/2007/03/be-safe-buy-offensive-language-offsets.html
Tired of the language police raking you over the coals when you utter something they consider offensive? Wish you could just pay some money and make everything all better? Well Chickenhawk Express is proud to announce a special way that you can say whatever you want without fear of national ridicule... Offensive Language Offsets!
In the tradition of Carbon Offsets, you can now buy an offensive language offset to make up for your hot air. It's simple and cheap. You say something offensive and our specially trained offsetters will make up for your comments by posting some inoffensive platitudes.
Here's an example...
You are being interviewed by Chris Matthews. He starts bloviating about "Bush lied, People died". You respond with "You are a f#*^ing idiot". The crew gasps and you think "Oh Crap". But not to worry, you've bought Offensive Language Offsets. Within 24 hours, a statement, similar to the following, is released on Chickenhawk Express - "Chris Matthews may be a f#$&ing idiot, but he has great hair. You've gotta respect the hair." All is well and you are in the clear! Simple as that. Think of the freedom and the liberating sense that you will get knowing that you can say anything - it will be taken care of!
Offsets are available in packages of 10 for $25 up to an unlimited number of offsets for $1000 per year. Act quickly. We're sure that the upcoming Presidential campaigns are going to be full of comments that require an Offensive Language Offset.
Please note that this offer is only available to Conservatives, Bushbots, Right Wing Nuts and like minded people. Liberal moonbats need not apply because there are not enough Offensive Language Offsets available in the world to make up for the dumbass things you say. OOPPS... I guess I need to buy an offset now...
Thank you for your post. Quite ironic how the keyboard commandos believe themselves to be such adept judges of the body politic. Better even than a five time New York Times best seller.
I now predict the thread will be filled with references about their sagacity linked to fantastic claims of electoral victories.
The bullshiite is thick and ripe on the Annie threads.
"This is one reason (among many) that we're better"
It is also one reason (among many) that you are losing.
You could not be more wrong. The women were trying to be advocates they were not on TV shilling for money. We may disagree with them but we do NOT say, like Annie C, that they enjoyed wathcing thier husbands die, that they take joy inntheir blood and that they thank OBL for murdering them. Come on!
Ann Coulter used her ridicule of them to make money and to sell books. Others that work the streets in the short skirts she wears get called another name.
She has, as they say, jumped the shark because she has nothing serious to say but certainly has no bottom to the cold malicious streak she wishes all conservatives would show.
