Been to Venezuela twice and I'm planning on going again this summer. These folks always voted against Chavez and never liked him. They thought that even though they lost the election they could live with his policy. However, those policies have gone off the deep end in the last 12-18 months.

Saw Hugo on TV going on about the death squads Bush has sent to kill him. Made me think of 2 things:
1. If the USA desired, he'd never hear the gunshot.
2. What's more insulting to Hugo. That America is so concered with him that we are trying to kill him or the truth that most Americans don't know who he is and could find Venezuela on a map? They only know it as the country they heard about on the discovery channel where some idiot was trying to capture an Anaconda with his bare hands.
