Opposition to stem cell amendment in Missouri continues

I fought hard against Amendment 2 in the fall, and I will fight hard again. Missourians--and Americans around the country--need to know that this is not a dead issue. Missourians are not going to be quiet and just fade away on this issue.

I heard that the opposition was going to push for a constitutional amendment in Missouri to ban all cloning, unlike the embryonic stem cell amendment that claimed to ban cloning but didn't. I think this is a better strategy than trying to overturn the ESC amendment by vote.

That's a very good point, and you're right that it is probably a better strategy.

The social conservative in me is satisfied with that plan; the fiscal conservative in me is not.

Sigh.
