Absolutely. Rudy will have to make it clear he won't pass any federal anti-gun legislation if he wants to win the R nomination.

He's already said things to that effect, and he's known for speaking what he really means, so we'll see.

That's a good sign. I'm holding out for a solidly conservative candidate, but if I have to settle for less, I want to know if I'm being played.

One Columbine-like incident (God forbid it) could change that overnight.
Giuliani (being the condescending patrician a-hole that he is) will want to look "tough" on "gun crime" and will gladly sign away your Second Amendment rights.

If he's known for speaking what he really means, why shouldn't we judge him on all the anti-Second Amendment statements (and actions) he has made before he decided to run for president?
