How can he possibly participate in the August 14th debate?
He will have dropped out by then.

Sounds like Coulter used the wrong "f" word to describe John Edwards. In reality the guy is a fascist who thinks we should have a single viewpoint media all of it liberal. Oh well, let the little Breck girl whine. By this time next year he'll have slipped back into glorious oblivion.

I thought Moulitso Markos Zuniga was the WWII puppet President of Greece, henchman for the Nazis, and the British hung him in 1945.

Edwards is a coward. He is afraid to debate, and uses this as an excuse.

The Edwards campaign has been looking desperate lately. The polls must look really bad.

So the cultural divide in the country has gotten so bad that now the mainstream representatives of the two sides won't even appear on media they claim is slanted to the other?
That's a sad, sad statement about America at this juncture.

Olberman is being boycotted by somebody. After NBC News announced Olberman would be appearing in their programming their ratings dropped and the news producer was demoted.

Does anyone seriously think that Hillary will show up for an event that isn't pre-scripted with her admirers tossing her softball after softball? I like the idea of empty chairs though - maybe we could have chickens stenciled on them!

Do any of the superb brain trust on FR remember the name of the university ( I think) that did a study of media bias by simply counting the number of times various "experts" or organizations of known persuasion appeared?
For example if one news organization used many quotes from MoveOn.org that would count as a left leaning bias. The same if the Heritage Foundation were the primary source it would count as a right leaning organization.
This seemed like the best way to eliminate or at least reduce the bias of the person doing the study.
