I'm much more of a "Permanent Waves" and after Rush fan. While I can appreciate "By-Tor & The Snow Dog" I much more prefer their albums from the 80's and 90's.

gotcha - was your first post the shock of seeing a seriously great record (Kind of Blue) next to the Dixie Chicks version of pop?

I am a big Paul Desmond fan, and his work with guitarist Jim Hall is about as beautiful as "real" jazz gets.

I liked Cat back in the day, but have never gotten past his support for the Ayatollah's fatwah on Salmon Rushdie. He is a complete non-entity to me at this point.

The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust was to the 70s what Sgt. Peppers was to the 60s.

And it comes in at number 171????

I honestly think they create these lists for the purpose of creating the stink they do. Kinda like the guy who farts in the middle of a party on purpose.

You know this list was crap when 50cents is listed (as is M&M, and other rap "artists") and Cream's Disraeli Gears isn't listed at all.

Fellow Rush fans, I feel your pain too! Only one in the top 200? This list is BS.
