"Siqueiros told Summerlin he was not carrying any illegal narcotics because he had just became a U.S. citizen the week before and 'would not do anything like that.'”

I also liked the part about the drill bit.

After given consent to search, Summerlin’s K-9 ...

You NEVER give consent for them to search your vehicle. Never.

Good for you. This man did, and I'm glad the police dog was alert to it.

"We are in deep, deep trouble."

Agree with you, this country is in for some bad times ahead, unfortunately.

I'm so thankful they stopped that deadly WEED from becoming part of the U.S. economy. It's not as though WEED could be cultivated within U.S. borders. Yes, our law enforcement stays focused on recreational drugs instead of worrying about terrorists. Somehow I do not sleep better when I read about this kind of bust.

Only on COPS can you view idiots waiving their 4th Amendment rights. It wouldn't be a show without them.

I think the law enforcement stays focused on both drug dealers and terrorists. Most people consider both to be criminals.

I knew this type of thread would attract the pot smokers too. So, I expected to hear from the legalize pot crowd.

Too late to get to me though. I've been through those years of lighting up and realize the damage it can do. I just say no to legalization.

And the sad thing is that we have nobody to blame but ourselves. We should have stopped this 10 years ago. If we don't stop it now, we are finished.

I think most citizens would agree with you. But the governement "leaders" couldn't (wouldn't?) get it done.
