Dems to seek withdrawal from Iraq by '08

WASHINGTON - House Democratic leaders intend to propose legislation requiring the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq by the fall of 2008, and even earlier if the Iraqi government fails to meet security and other goals, Democratic officials said Wednesday night

Some questions for the Dems:

If we're going to pull them out before the job is done, why wait until 2008? Why wait at all? If it is your intention for us to fail, why should soldiers put themselves in harm's way for another 20 months?

If you pull the soldiers out before the job is done, do you have an alternate plan for Iraq, or is it fully your intention to let Iraq go to he!! ? Or is "hoping for the best" what you'd consider a plan?

Do you have a plan to defend the home turf from all those out-of-work jihadists?

Are you prepared to allow drilling in ANWR after mid-east violence results in our oil supply being cut-off? Or do we just "wing it"?

Have you considered the fate of the Kurds? Iraqii women? Have you considered how Israel will be affected?

Those are the kind of questions they will never answer!

They simply do not care about those issues. There main concern is political power at any cost and they have their own set of priorities. That is to create crisis for the purpose of creating dependency and thereby creating a reliable voting constituency to keep them in power.
