Walgreen, Americas largest drugstore retailer, may call itself the pharmacy America trusts, but at least one federal commission would like to disagree.
The United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) sued Walgreens on Wednesday afternoon, claiming that the company discriminated against thousands of African American employees by denying promotions and assigning workers to low-performing stores.

I doubt it.
And this is a federal jurisdictional issue because?
The chief pharmacist, two of his assistants and one of the assistant managers in our local Walgreens are all black. They do good work, I wouldn't care if they were purple with green spots.
What do you bet that the anecdotal evidence is apocryphal, and the statistics are crap?
Just the socialists again attacking capitalism.
I'm thinking the employees probably lived in the area of stores in low performing areas. In which case they should sue their parents or real estate agents.
It took longer, four hours vs ten minutes down the street.
It cost more, almost double (than down the street).
The pharmacist was a jerk.
Wasn't there a scandal at Walgreen's about pharmacist making outlandish remarks on patient's files?
I was a fool to go there in the first place.
The DHS will typically make a white male wait up to three years for placement at a GS5 level whereas a resident alien with little to no English speaking ability gets offered a job within 4 months of application, EVEN THOUGH THEY CAN'T PASS THE BACKGROUND TO DO THE JOB, just so long as he has the right color skin or is a woman. And they enter as a GS9.
And despite the tag line, that's NO joke.

If what I just wrote made you sad or angry,
it was probably just a joke.
I would!
If my pharmacist was purple with green spots I would worry about if they really were purple with green spots or I just saw them that way. One of us has some bad drugs.
I wonder what politics are going on behind this. Is this a very common thing for the EEOC to do? Carteroid/Clintonite politicians?
At the risk of exposing my paranoia, could this simply be politics by liberal bureaucrats wanting race to have a higher profile during an election season (albeit a premature one)?
