"...Just waves of Japanese beatles..."
John, Paul, George, & Lingo?
I had to read down a little to make sure this wasn't a joke. Well, an intentional joke. Unbelievable.
I think most people who looked at the posted cover figured it HAD to be a satire. Even a dying waste of paper like Sports Illustrated wouldn't sink this low, would they. But there you go - - it's for real. Apparently they figured they could cash in on Gore's Oscar.
Joke's on them, the scumbags.
When I saw it posted here I thought it must be a hack. Nope. Too bad. Idiocy.
I would have thought that too except I actually found the hard copy in my mailbox. (It was mis-delivered by the mailman - - turns out the name on the cover is a friend of my son. Same house number, different street.)
ahhh yes - now I remember - thanks
...and in the next edition of Cat Fancy magazine:"Your Shedding is Linked to Global Warming."
You certainly aren't going to get the swimsuit edition in any libraries now:

All of Florida's sports teams get wiped out except for the Magic...Disney World miraculously survives all this and becomes beachfront property. Spring training will be held in Minnesota.
I love SI, the pictures are awesome...the stories are dropping far too many political references in them. Guess which way they lean.
Great letter. You beat me to it. I e-mailed them to cancel my subscription and told them in no uncertain terms that if I wanted to read left wing, junk science and bogus studies I would subscribe to the New York Times.
I always knew there was an agenda there, with SI being owned by the liberal Time-Life.
You gotta see this one. I watch sports and read about sports to get away from the liberal news media. They had to go f that up for me too. These looney libs are like gnats. They won't even let you take a dump and read the sports section in peace without harrassing you with their agenda of control.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Miami, underwater, NO GREAT LOSS.
Time for us to go to work on the cover.
This must be your favorite beer guy. I swear I've seen you use him before. Am I right?
And yes I use him all the time. :)
